Description
Incredibly beautiful megalodon tooth, found in the Pliocene sediments of Cuba. While most findings come from the United States, Cuban specimens are rare on the fossil market.
The shape of this tooth is nearly perfect and resembles the tip of a combat spear. Symmetry and harmonious proportions are fascinating. No less impressive is the excellent preservation. There are no cracks on the enamel of the tooth, the base preserves its integrity, and the jagged edge is not damaged. Combined with the ivory-like coloring, this creates an amazing effect. It is hard to believe that this is a fossil, which is more than two million years old. The size of the tooth - 16 cm - distinguish it even among other large specimens.
Cuban megalodon teeth are highly valued by collectors for their rarity and beauty, and this specimen occupies a worthy place among them.
