Meteorite Los Vientos 262

Los Vientos meteorite was found in the Atacama Desert. The specimen has a relatively small size and a smooth surface, the melting crust is brown. Unlike most similar specimens, it is less affected by weathering and retains its integrity. Light- colored cracks are visible over the entire surface. The meteorite belongs to chondrites and is a part of the remains of the primary material from which the planets of the solar system were formed.
