Description
Dinosaur vertebra, unidentified.
The situation when fossils, according to which almost nothing can be said about the animal, fall into the hands of paleontologists is quite typical. Complete skeletons are rare, while individual bones are more common. In this case, it is definitely a dinosaur vertebra, but it is not possible to determine which exact dinosaur it belonged to.
The vertebra is large, 10 cm long, has rough edges and a smooth upper surface. Vertebral processes are absent. The porous bone structure characteristic of dinosaurs is clearly visible. The vertebra has an interesting coloration, reminiscent of petrified wood. The fossil is of interest to collectors passionate about paleontology.
