Description

Acheroraptor is a contemporary and neighbor of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which habited North America at the end of the Cretaceous period, 67-66 million years ago. Acheroraptor is known thanks to teeth and skeletal fragments findings in the famous Hell Creek Formation.

Acheroraptor is a member of the dromaeosaurid family and a close relative of Velociraptor. A fast, feathered predator the size of a large dog, it was the scourge for birds and mammals of its time. Its main weapon was a pair of large claws, located one on each hind paw.

The claw you see is a serious weapon capable of inflicting heavy wounds on even a large animal. The claw is in excellent condition, with no cracks or damages. This is a huge rarity that can brighten both private and museum collections.
